Dinner in Slow Cooker

On this cold rainy Saturday I decided to throw together dinner in the slow cooker. I had some beef tips that I browned in olive oil. Added cream of mushroom soup, water, one packet of Lipton beef onion soup mix, and a whole onion. This will cook on low for six hours. About one hour before it is done, I will add veggies. Potatoes and carrots. Dinner will be done. And biscuits as well. It should look like the photo when it is cooked. Do you enjoy cooking in a slow cooker? What is on your dinner menu?

I love to cook in a slow cooker. I made a vegetable beef soup in mine the day before yesterday. It was delicious. You dinner looks terrific. Enjoy.

I do not have one, I would love one but at the moment Tony cannot stand the smell of food cooking, so I do fast meals. That looks delicious!

I used to own a slow cooker and enjoyed making soups and stews in it. I haven't had one in years, I realize, as I'm content with slow cooking in my usual pot. But I'd like to have a slow cooker again and try new recipes for it. For dinner tonight, I'm probably going to make some chicken soup out of leftover fried chicken.

I love my crock pot--I cooked a batch of chicken thighs with a bag of Jambalaya mix , mushrooms, Piccante sauce and veggies split it up into 5 dinners and I mam set until Wednesday!!
