I started a Joy journal this week. I haven't written in it a lot because I kind of forgot and the binder fell on the side of my bed and when things go into that abyss they are forgotten about. But I will fish it out soon because I really want to write in it! A Joy Journal as Puddin explains is a journal where you put happy moments that happen in your day into a journal and you can look back at it and feel all warm and fuzzy! I love the idea of journal keeping, I just never remember to write in it. But I hope with time I get better at it. Also, I wanted to show you the actual webcomic because I know people have no idea about my website and I am really proud of this week's installment and though more people should see it. I'm even happier with this installment because I really wanted to do something about Hanukkah in it. Riku is based of an old old best friend who I no longer speak to but she was a best friend of mine for like 15 years so Riku is her embodiment and she is Jewish! She didn't really celebrate Hanukkah but her family did. Since I am not Jewish I really don't know much about the holiday other than what we are taught in school and so I wanted to search everything and I just couldn't make up a comic dedicated about the holiday because I was clueless. But I am really happy I could show a little splash of the holiday because I think it is something that should be shown in more entertainment out there. There are like 39 holidays celebrate this month, it isn't just about Christmas and I would like to learn more about what other cultures celebrate. It is beautiful! Coexist and happy holidays to all!
