My parrot is so happy in her new cage

I bought my parrot a new cage just over a month ago. Because I'm not good with dimensions, I thought I was getting her about the same size as the one she was in but it turned out to be much smaller. It isn't too small for her but it is a lot smaller than the huge cage she had.
I've noticed that I hear her climbing all over the cage constantly. When I go in to change the papers, toys that she has ignored for years and years are now getting chewed up and shredded to bits. She is so much more active in this new cage.
At first I couldn't figure out if she was happy or stressed but I've noticed that she is even more vocal too. I was talking to one of my best friends about it yesterday and she has owned parrots for years. She said that it sounds like my bird is much happier in the new smaller cage. So that is our take on it--she is loving her new cage and now I'm going to need to order her a bunch of new toys to destroy.

She is now a happy bird. What mischief has Bad Sandy been getting into?

A bird being given a new cage is a big thing for a bird.
