Leftovers Anyone

I cooked beef tips in the slow cooker yesterday with vegetables. I will have leftovers for dinner tonight. Sometimes eating the food next day tastes better than the day you made it. Overnight gives the flavors time to all mesh together perhaps.
Anyway it is good not to be cooking again today. It has been raining all night and all day. But no snow thankfully. Just cold rain. My cats have been in my lap just about all day.
I did get on the treadmill but the cats stayed in the recliner, waiting on my return. I found this funny image. I don't have a dog but I know this is how they would think.
Dinner plans? How was your weekend?

I'm cooking chili tonight so tomorrow it will be even better, your dinner sounds very good. Been a long time since I had some beef tips.

The dog of my niece was great in eating everything left unattended on the table, even if those were "not yet" leftovers.

Most of my critters here hope for left overs. But the chickens get most of them.

Very busy weekend. The brakes went out on our van, and we spent the entire weekend getting them fixed, while scrambling to get my wife to work.

We just celebrated our town's feast during the weekend and after attending to more or less 50 visitors to partake in our preparation, there's the left overs that we have to attend to. Almost half of the lechon is kept in the fridge, the wilted lettuce will have to find its way to the organic compost, other dishes cooked in vinegar and soysauce becomes a great delight after chilling it and then reheated. The macaroni salad have to be consumed until tomorrow or else.

We finally got some relief from rain stopped for a little while.
I love leftovers the best ever. our weekend was nice and relaxing.

Yours sound just delicious.
I did a pot roast in the slow cooker while we were away this afternoon.
I did up a couple of small containers for lunches and then there will be lots of beef and gravy for a supper some night next week. And it should taste better the second time around.

No dinner at all here for the second day in a row Carol.
I cant be bothered cooking for ungrateful sod you know.
