I find that I really like Spanish TV shows I am watching on Netflix. They have English subtitles and so I follow by reading in English but I really like them. I just finished one and am watching another called Fugitiva and it is good too.

well, I also like them. However, I am a bit having a difficulty in watching it because my tendency is to keep reading the sub-titles.

rebel_woman06 @SIMPLYD Yes, there are times I am busy reading the subtitles that I miss what is going on in the show.

@SIMPLYD I stare at the subtitles and then look at the show and there are times I get so absorbed in the subtitles that I miss what is going on in the show.

I can't watch subtitled stuff. Just too hard to keep up for me. I do like a lot of British shows, but of course I do not need subtitles for those.

@porwest I can understand that Jim but I have found a new appreciation for Spanish shows and there are English subtitles underneath. I do not know why but they have a lot of action in them and I love action.

@porwest We get a mix from Netflix here in Israel. When we get programs I have watched from America it seems like it takes forever to come here to see more of it.

@Hannihar Well, if they are American shows, we definitely have a lot of action on our shows here.

i like watching good foreign movies subtitled in English. my disadvantage though is i always look at the bottom of the TV screen to read the subtitles rather watching the movie itself.

@Hannihar but when i see a movie with subtitles second or third time already, i watch the actual movie without reading the English dialogues now.

@ridingbet I can see that too. That makes sense. I do that too and when i watch something in English and it has Hebrew subtitles I like to see if I can read it and sometimes it goes too fast so I miss alot of what it says in Hebrew.

That would be good to watch, because we can read and at the same time learn some translation from their language to English language while enjoying watching... ...

When we go to the Film Festivals there are often sub-titles. I like the French films. I don't think I've seen any Spanish films.
