i like watching good foreign movies subtitled in English. my disadvantage though is i always look at the bottom of the TV screen to read the subtitles rather watching the movie itself.

@Hannihar but when i see a movie with subtitles second or third time already, i watch the actual movie without reading the English dialogues now.

I can see if you have seen it before that you would not need the subtitles.

I can see that too. That makes sense. I do that too and when i watch something in English and it has Hebrew subtitles I like to see if I can read it and sometimes it goes too fast so I miss alot of what it says in Hebrew.

My partner watches a lot of subtitled films but my reading isn't quick enough so I don't enjoy them. x

I understand totally. I find that in Hebrew they go very fast so if can catch something that is nice but the show is in English and want to see what it says in Hebrew and if I can understand it.

I am really getting into Spanish ones. I remember when I had cable there was a Spanish soap opera I watched with Hebrew subtitles and got the drift of it.
