Is your computer bag heavy?

I realized yesterday that because I am using a rolling bag right now, I have way overpacked the bag. I used to fly all the time and when you fly all the time you often put your bag above your head in the overhead bin. That meant I was lifting it all the time. I don't as often now, which let me add a way to much crap to the bag. I am cutting a bunch of stuff out of the bag today! Do you have too much stuff in your comptuer/work bag today?

I have a very small bag where I keep my laptop, it's ready just in case I need to use it going out. At home I use a desktop, I would better say that is a "tower", but people seem not to use this word anymore.

@DocAndersen It is my favorite, it is more powerful, it's easier to add an additional hard disk to make backups, the only serious computer if you work with one.

@LadyDuck I like both laptops and desktops. I have a great laptop with a touchscreen that is light and easy to move with me. That is nice (to work wherever I am).

Today I took out my computer bag and loaded my laptop plus its charger. It did feel rather heavy to carry. I had to take my laptop to the library to download a pdf document and get this printed. I got some shopping including food and more presents for Christmas. It was so lovely to bring my laptop back home.

I usually bring my laptop using a backpack. I think it is fine with me.

We will be going overseas in May and hope to cut down on our luggage this time.

@DocAndersen We have different allowances on different flights which makes planning luggage a bit difficult. And as you seem to be saying, you don't want to paying for excess baggage.

@JudyEv I didn't, but I did in the end. We took the cheapest flight possible, in the end had we gone with a regular carrier (and no baggage fee) we would have actually paid the same amount.

Going to Europe two years ago we had 100 pounds over going there and 180 pounds over coming back. It was almost cheaper to buy the bag its own seat on the plane!
