Polo's taking me to Paka.

Polo's taking me and his sister over to Paka Beach tomorrow in his new boat. It's not as exciting as it sounds - just a new sail boat that suits living on the island when you want to get to places that roads don't go to, and no road will ever be going to Paka Beach. It lies at the bottom of a cliff that stretches 10 kilometres and no-one ever goes there except the turtles in turtle mating season. A few humans have been known to mate there too. I'll not be mating tomorrow when I go there. Polo's sister may be highly mateable, but not while her brother's there watching. Anyway she'll be sure to bring a picnic that we'll have after we've swum a bit and we aim to be sailing back into harbor at sundown and we'll have drinks at the Bowdowner.
