Runaround Anne was on the move all morning

She told me that she had to run around all morning as we ate lunch and it triggered an immediate flashback to the 1961 hit "Runaround Sue," by Dion DiMucci. I could hear part of it right away, but then looked it up and heard the whole song. I still like it a lot.
Dion co-wrote it with Ernie Maresca, who also worked with him on other hit songs like "The Wanderer".
Some great old rock and roll!

That is great. I always feel good when I have a list of things to do and accomplish all of them.

Love this song. It'll get you up and dancing.
I still ache for Dion, who was put in that bad position of having to headline the Winter Dance Party after the Holly/Richardson/Valens plane crash.

It sure was a great song in its time and still is today. At least your runaround Ann loves you not like Sue in the song.

True and that's a good thing! Sue in the song is supposedly Sue, his wife. She says yes, he says no.
