A Blue and Silver Christmas Tree This Time

Our Christmas tree is finally up! We decided to decorate last December 8, on the Feast of the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception and after my daughter's First Holy Communion. I'd wanted to decorate as early as the first Sunday of Advent. Unfortunately I came down with bad allergies and had to go through medical checkups. The decor had to wait a while.
Anyway, I'm so thankful that we now have a shining tree in the house. My kids wanted blue and silver for a change, as we've always had the candy-colored tree the past years. I would've wanted to decorate the house more but I think this is all we're gonna have apart from a few things hanging by the door and on the wall.

We have a really small Christmas tree, and I decorated it with some stars I made.

@almostoveryou When I have a big tree I use a mix of my own things and the things I have bought. This year I only use my own things because the tree is so small.

Always good to get creative and jazz up your tree. :o) Who put the Minnie Mouse toy and the bag of marbles there, I wonder?

It sounds beautiful! I just have my tiny little tree with white lights. I didn't even bother with ornaments this year because I like the way it looks right now, very simplistic :)
