On being the mother of a puppy.

Today we discovered that Luna had a stomach ailment. It was not as bad as to call a vet. But I had to get her away from the apricots that fall on the grass. Now she doesn´t feel well and Leticia found apricot pits between a very disgusting poo. I made a chicken soup for her which is cooling in the kitchen. I put chicken breast pieces, a bit of finely diced carrot and some rice. No salt. None of us should eat salt, but we can make our pets behave better than what we do. I hope the soup is ready. She has not eaten her dinner yet.

Poor Luna. She really is at least as much trouble as a child sometimes isn't she?

Yes, she is. On the other hand, ripe apricots are quite tempting. Now she ate her special food and I will have to be on the look out to take away from her the apricots that fall.

@marguicha As a child we went to an orchard and were allowed to eat as much as we liked. Of course, I made myself sick and it was years and years before I could eat another plum. I still don't like them much.

I am glad she passed the pits and they didn't hang up inside her!

True. Apricot pits can be very dangerous.

Apricots are safe for cats and dogs, not the pits, check to be sure she did not eat the pits.

Poor Luna. Just like a child who has eaten green apples that are not ripe yet. Hope she eats her dinner and feels much better soon.
