Stop! Can we get off this crazy roller coaster and slow down for a minute?

Everywhere I look it's two more weeks until Christmas posts and I'm ready to burst. Can we just hold off a little bit? I know everyone's excited but some of us aren't ready!
I still have gifts that should arrive today, but there's no telling. I have to wrap them, and I need to get stuff to make cookies. I've still got things to get done and I'm just not ready.
So can we slow time down a little bit and stop rushing these two weeks?

Just ignore the posts and don't let it stress you out. 2 weeks is plenty of time to get everything done. I ordered the last presents I needed last night from Amazon and they will come tomorrow. Half the presents are wrapped and under my tree the rest will be done next week!

OH, I didn't mean for it to seem I was that stressed over it. Yeah, I mean I'm a little stressed but not over silly posts like that. I'm hoping my stuff comes in the mail today. I don't have that much to wrap and so I am sure it will all wait until last minute. I think last year I wrapped the gifts the same day of the party.

@ScribbledAdNauseum well that's good then you were just commenting really not actually stressed. This is the first year I am excited for Christmas and I think my boyfriend is going to ruin that so it has put a damper on the past few days.

@shaggin I absolutely loathe when people ruin a holiday for others. I've stayed away from people on certain holidays because of it. I hope he doesn't ruin it for you.

Same here, I'm nowhere near ready. I only just put the tree up yesterday, i'm still waiting for half the gifts to arrive in the mail, and there are some people idek what to buy for them yet! I need at least an extra month to get ready

I have my decorations up but then I don't decorate extensively. It will be here and gone before we know it. I wish I had more time as there are actually more people I want to buy for but I can't afford to.

I've been on that roller coaster for awhile now and I'm exhausted. I'm excited for Christmas but it is a hassle trying to get everything done that needs doing and still find time to enjoy the whole season

I just got a message from a friend "Can we move our Friends-mas up a weekend? My cousin is going to be induced this weekend, so we're doing her shower next."
*stress intensifies*
I was only half joking with this discussion. I have reasons to want things to slow down, but now I'm being told that we will have to move it up and some of my gifts haven't even arrived. I hope they do tomorrow!

I am still waiting for gifts to arrive. I hope they come tomorrow. Well, I know atleast one should, though I can't track it. I don't have near the amount of money I wish I had.
