Winter has arrived!

It started Monday night with a bunch of snow. Yesterday it was pretty warm though, so it all melted. Then overnight, we got MORE snow! Even more than we had got Monday night. Luckily, a lot of it has melted today even though it's colder and super windy. Only the back roads are still bad.
I am hoping the rest of the week is dry though so we can do our big monthly shopping trip. If not, guess we'll skip it this month....but don't want the snow to ruin it for us!
How has the weather been for you? Do you live somewhere that it snows a lot? And if so, have you got a big snow fall yet?

@MommyOfEli2013 Most is gone now. Still have ice in the kiddie pools but it is melting down.

We are having a heat wave as it's sunny and in the 50s today. Then later this week they calling for an ice storm.. but we will see with the weather changing every 5 minutes.

It has already snowed in the Washington DC area this year. That is rare (once every 20 years or so). Predictions are for rain this weekend (not snow thankfully)!

Oh wow, it's that rare for snow there? I wish it was rare for it to snow here, lol! But that's good that predictions are for rain there rather than snow!

@DocAndersen Ohh! okay. Understand now. It is not rare for us to get snow in November. We've been known to get snow in October. Some years even as late is May (or rare - June)

@MommyOfEli2013 It is rare in early November. We normally get 4/6 snow storms a year. 2018 is almost the wettest year in recorded history however.

Sounds like my life in Minneaspolis except that snow would stay on the ground and we would get lots of ice and very very cold weather,.
