Forty has rolled around

Its inevitable. This number will roll around- the alternatives are not jolly, that's for sure. So here I am, still kicking though I am not kicking my partner. He has shared forty years of life with me. He seems to be still alive and fairly happy. At least I hope he isn't harboring a huge stew of "how dare she!" and "what the heck??" The weather is totally cooperative. Amazing there but you will not hear me whine about the sweet roads. Hubby took the day off work so we're going to lunch in a very nice restaurant then get errands run before we head back home. I hope your day is going well, too.
