Well, I Tried Sweeping The Sidewalk

Been a great day for Yard work. It is so nice out today. 71 and clear. Been cold, said it was supposed to be colder. The girls were out frolicking about most of the morning. I was hoping Brooklyn tired herself out already. I should have known better. Get the broom to sweep sidewalk. Barely was able to get two strokes in and was attacked. Broom ripped from my hand and a wild dog bucking around whole front yard with a broom in her mouth. We bought two others and sister pretty much declared that one hers, but we still use it because why ruin the good ones. Always funny how people perceive her. That dog is out of control. Not really, that is just the way the breed is and is good for the most part, but eventually she has to get that energy out. You can see the exploits of the Belgium Malinois here and the breed of dog is no joke. Brooklyn is just a part Belgium, can't imagine a pure bred and definitely do not recommend as a pet, unless one has that type of energetic life style to match the dogs needs. They sure are funny though. A personality like no other. Yeah, when Brooklyn gets like this, the only thing you can do is help her burn through her energy faster. She definitely makes one stay active whether you want to or not.
EDIT*** None of these videos are abuse, no one got hurt. Many of people that don’t know Malinois that well, if they see them train or something, they will al...

Golden Retrievers are probably the best in between dogs. Meaning pretty much everyone likes that breed as pet. This breed is getting more popular because how athletic and much personality they have, but many are making aware they should only be used as working dogs. People want to make them pets anyway. When we got Brooklyn we were not sure what she was. Was actually told she was a German Shepherd, but we knew right away, no, but maybe some. Did our research and personality type along with body build knew she was part Belgium Malicious. She is a bit smaller and her ears never went up right. I think she may have some pit bull in her, but brother thinks she is part boxer.

@rebelann @rebelann Can I be Honest, not going to bite my head off are you? I can see maybe some German Shepherd with the ears and eyes. I do not see any husky, but could be wrong. Ally looks a lot like a pit bull the most. That head is huge and shaped like a pit bulls head. Another thing is Pit Bulls are everywhere and people would be surprised how many mixed breeds have pit in them. People treat that breed of dog like dirt. Also German Shepherds can talk a lot to is what Kai tells me. Tristan did not but Kai is a non stop talker way more than even a Husky. Does not make the dog any less cooler or anything, but just what I see. Its all speculation unless do a DNA test.

It's hard to pin down the breed mix of any mutt @crossbones27 the only reason I know she's GSD and Husky is cuz the humane society told me her mom was GSD and the owners of the mom saw a husky in with her but who knows, the mom coulda been a mix too. Ally does act like a husky though, she's got that talky thing going and she only does what she's told IF she wants to, so Husky.

I live in a big city and dogs should not be outside, however cute they are. My own Luna gallops like a horse at night and my garden is a mess. But she does not and cannot bother our neighbors.

Indeed, Brooklyn is actually good in that area, she is more of a keep it the family type annoyance where Kai the German Shepherd is the one that likes to bark at the world. She has to stay in at night or we would have some pissed off neighbors. Brooklyn knows two speeds 100 miles an hour or sleep. German Shepherds are more steady energy. Even Kai sometimes grabs her by the throat, pins her down and says calm down. Its funny when that happens.

I loved a lot of the video. But my dobermans could keep up with them. Especially Jill. She has a very high working drive. Yes ssome dogs need jobs to be completely happy as that is what they were bred to do.
