An Ingalls Christmas

I always liked to read the Little House on the Prairie books and watch the TV Series. In the early days of the TV Series, they put out a Christmas special that followed the book really well concerning a Christmas that the Ingalls had during a huge snow storm. Despite the difficulties and the few gifts received, there was love and joy of the family just being together.
This story has always warmed my heart during the Christmas Season.

I have never read the books, but I grew up watching the TV series. It was one of my favorite shows.

I loved the books, I have read them three times, as a child, later when grown up and now to my own daughter. Thankfully I have never seen the TV series as lots of people said it was unbearably sickly and twee and put them off the stories, which is such a shame.

I also read all the books as a child twice and also as an adult. The books ever get old.

Yes, I bet if the real Laura Ingalls was alive, she would have approved at how well done the show was and would be happy that it is still in reruns and has become a Classic.
