One more wish for Christmas

I just read an article about the local power company and what they are facing through the PUC (Public Utilities Commission). With all the fires they have caused in the state they are facing some serious fines that enter into the "BILLIONS" of dollars. I've been able to keep my spirits and hopes up after my house was burned down by a separate fire from the major ones in the state. The power company only burned down my home and the neighbor's house and the fire was controlled and extinguished. I filed a claim with them and kept my hopes up that they would pay for my loss and I could rebuild my home and have it once again. After reading the article and realizing that my chances of rebuilding are next to impossible I am sitting here trying to get my spirits up without much luck...it looks like I'm going to be homeless and without a vehicle for now on....I'm trying hard NOT to cry, especially in front of Bill. Along with my wish for a Siamese kitten, I wish for the power company to pay my claim for their having burned up everything that I owned and for killing my dog and cats. And for those of you who are wondering, no I didn't have insurance, I couldn't find a company that would insure my home because of where it is located. Please Santa bring me a Siamese kitten and the good news from the power company that they will pay to replace my home and belongings...at least clothing that is something other than tee shirts and blue jeans which is all I can afford to buy for myself.

Thank you for your hopes. I just wish for my home to be replaced and possibly a Siamese kitten in my stocking. The rest I'm willing to work for. As the owner of the antique shop that my bears are in gets on my case...I give away too many of my teddy bears to people who are in worse situations than I am.

@celticeagle I've always been a giver...even now with so little I still give what I can. Monday night I gave a couple of dollars to a homeless woman who needed food for her and her dog...It felt great!!!

There are many organizations that will help--you just have to ask. I would also look into legal aid regarding the power company.
