There are many bizarre and interesting facts about Christmas. For example, did you know that many zoos feed donated Christmas trees to their animals? Or that during Christmas there is a village in Peru where both young and old settle any outstanding grudges with fist fights? Here are a few more you may not have known about: All letters addressed to Santa in the United States go to Santa Claus, Indiana It is estimated that the song "White Christmas" by Irving Berlin is the best selling single in history with over 100 million copies sold. And the most interring fact I learned is this one.... Paul McCartney earns nearly half a million dollars every year from his Christmas song, which many critics regards as his worst song ever. I did know about the Peruvian custom, I had family that lived there years ago. I wasn't aware of any of the other facts-thanks.
