Mail Again!

I checked the tracking on the package that was meant to arrive today. I was hopeful that both packages would come, though there was no way for me to track one of them. I was glad to see two packages in the mail and hurriedly grabbed them out of the mailbox and carted them inside. Pictured is all but one present that I have to wrap. The package not pictured is a two pack of big cup reeses. I've already reviewed everything I've received. Do you review things from independent sellers? (homemade, handmade, small business shops) What weird present have you bought this year?

One year I bought a friend a Walkin CD. You know that weird guy? She wasn't very impressed.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Ha. I bought a friend a three foot tall black santa one year. It's what she wanted.

Lucky You. I'd love expensive chocolates and cookies. I'm single at the moment, but when I was married it was never anything like that. I don't give very many people presents, and this year I wasn't able to spend as much. I intend to spend more when I am able to.

@Janet357 I don't really have a favorite brand. I like dark chocolate and I like chocolate with nuts in them. I also like orange flavored chocolate. I love the turtle chocolates you can get at the grocery store sometimes.

I am all set for that party I will be throwing for the less privileged. Everything is here. I only need to put them all in those bags that also be a part of the gift - coffee mugs, pedicure set, hand towels, and some dry fruits. .

@ScribbledAdNauseum I believe in giving them a time that they normally do not get. I had taken them to a breach resort where they had a great time. I do these kind of things for them. The Food Court I took them to was a memory to keep Eating with us at the table just like us.

I love receiving things in the mail even if they are gifts. I am not such a fan of a package that isn't traceable though.

You've got a new work opportunity and you have to worry about your health, I'm sure the problems with your family do not help either. I felt as if I was a little late in figuring out what I wanted to get everyone, I started panicking when the items still hadn't come.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I was looking for gifts online and I'm afraid if they are in good conditions. You know a gift for myself. Anyway, did you received everything?

The barbecue sauces? I am giving those to a very close friend of mine. I will be suggesting that she uses those sauces as basting meat with, or just in a good old barbecue chicken (which I am not sure she's ever made before). After I do that I'll be inviting myself over to try them with her. I am really curious about the flavors of the sauces, but I am also wondering about trying to make my own barbecue sauce as well. I have plenty of jars and lids here to do so with.

@Courage7 Oh, she'll put me to work. Last time I was there I woke up and she shoved a duster in my face. "Get to work woman!" Haha, we've known each other since we were in middle school. She's more of a sister to me than anything else.
