Firefighters in Lafayette Colorado have issued warnings for everyone who is near a frozen lake.
Please do not play games on bodies of water that have thin ice since falling into a frozen body of water are facing death or a severe illness.
On Saturday evening one young boy was playing fetch with his dog at Waneka Lake when the dog fell into the lake that was on thin ice.
The boy attempted to rescue his pet when he fell into the frozen lake as well.
Maria Florenza who was an eyewitness saw strangers come to the rescue of both the boy and his dog.
Someone did contact the local firefighters so came to the rescue of the boy and his dog.
The boy suffered from hypothermia. However he is expected to live. I am sure he received a lecture on the dangers of playing game on icy waters.

How dangerous can that be! This is where I think that parents should be punished in some way.
