Are Christmas trees only for children?

My mother thinks that Christmas trees are just for children. She can't understand why we want a Christmas tree this year. She said that children become happy if they have a Christmas tree. But why can't adults be happy with such a tree? What is your opinion? Are Christmas trees for children?

I think that Christmas trees are for both children and adults. My mother loves Christmas and when my brother and I were young she was more excited about the tree than we were.

I am not far to think like your mother, they are for families. As I am alone I do not feel the need of a Christmas tree, I put every year a few Santons on my chimney, it is my way to celebrate Christmas.

No Christmas tree are for families and not only for children. We have no children in our family, but we always put up a Christmas tree.

I believe Christmas trees are for everyone.Putting up the tree is my favorite part of the season. My boyfriend is Jewish and he even likes the tradition and decorating of putting up the tree and putting the gifts under it.

I think a Christmas Tree is for anyone who wants one. My wife and I still put up a small tree even though we are empty nesters now.

I don't think everyone who feels unhappy has a Christmas tree, there are still many adults who are happy when he has a tree like that, because they are always grateful for what they have
