Quorn, Corn, Korn

My mom calls it Corn, but I told her it has a bit more of a Quah into it. But what do I know, I say everything wrong anyway. Does dyslexia affect your speaking? Because I feel like that is a thing. Last night for dinner my mom decided to do something different. We had this bag of fake meat in our freezer, it was left over from when my aunt and uncle were here and my grandma wasn't going to eat it so she gave it to us. My mom prepared it with making teriyaki noodles and we added in some vegetables and the meat was actually made of fungus. So weird but I love that. The meat actually reminded me of the taste of Taco bell meat and it smelled like it too which I was totally okay with because I like Taco Bell and I haven't had it in ages and oh my god I need to stop because now I really want some. I don't like fast food but Taco Bell really gets me. Anyway, it was super interesting! All it was missing was some onions for that little extra flavor. So Quorn, we have a little bit left and I gave my mom an idea for it. So one night we are going to have Cream of mushroom soup and put some of that stuff with it and it would taste amazing!

I like Quorn, it's weird to think that it's a fungus but the taste is good. I was going to say the same as Jhon, it is pronounced with "Kw".

You are right - Quorn is pronounced with a "Kw". The village of Quorn in Leicestershire is only a few miles from where I live, so if the name of the product was taken from the name of the village it is definitely "Kworn"!

Interesting I have never heard of this kind of meat. I have had meat made out of soy.
