Norwex mops

I hope I don't have to delete this post, but it seems when I create a post asking for help, I get the help somewhere else before anyone comments. Anyway, this is about the Norwex mop (link is below) that was given to me. I was told (and it says it on the website) that all it needs is water, it somehow disinfects without using any cleaner at all. I don't mind getting my hands wet to mop the floor, but my son hates it and before when he mopped, I had a non-chemical (vinegar based) spray he would spray on the mop head to clean. My question is, would it ruin the mop if I had him use this spray?

I have no idea but I hope you were able to get the help you needed. Does the norwex mop heat up and use steam to clean?

@shaggin I know, I am weary of continuing to mop with just water and I know my son hates getting his hands wet. The mop I had before I would have a spray cleaner he could spray on the mop or floor, but it broke.

Nope, it is similar to those swifter mops, with the pad that stinks to it with velcro. I haven't gotten my answer yet, I guess I finally stumped everyone. lol

They have all kinds of cleaning products, but there is something about the cloths and mop heads where you don't use any cleaners at all, but it supposedly disinfects. The problem is the expense (As you can see on the link for just the mop) so I never bought one, but someone I know who sells the product was given the mop and she already had a mop she likes, so she gave it to me.

Yes, though I kind of wonder how using just water disinfects the floor, you know?

@Carmelanirel2 I have no idea of how it can disinfect that way.

These are new to me, so can't really be of much help. Let us know what you find out.

I didn't find anything out. I never had a chance to contact the company, but I am sure they will give me some kind of excuse of why I shouldn't use anything.
