Oh no! My Facebook account is being closed down!

I received this email this morning: This message is from a trusted sender. FACEBOOK We have been contacted to close your facebook account within 28 next hour. You're getting this email to make sure it was you. It's required that you reply within the next 24 hours, We will suspend access to your facebook account If we don't recieve your reply within the given time frame, We would appreciate your immediate attention to this matter. (suspicious looking link here) "Within 28 next hour"? Zuckerberg must be in dire straits to hire such a writer. Also, isn't "receive" spelled "receive," not "recieve"? Alas, I couldn't bring myself to click on the link. Would you miss Facebook if you were kicked off, or if it closed down? I actually would, even though I don't visit it nearly as much as I visit MyLot.

@TheHorse Twitter still has an "intellectual" baggage and some good writers and a few of my online friends are also there. I also share my mylot posts there sometimes.

"within 28 next hour" but "within the next 24 hours", I think they hired more than one writer. I check Facebook regularly, it's more of an obsessive-compulsive behavior. I might feel disorientated at first, but I wouldn't miss it as much. Hmm, except for the 'stalking' I do there.

@sabtraversa Ah, that makes sense. But isn't that just self-torture? If you still have feelings for them, why not invite them over for a hot interlude and ruin their current relationships? You didn't know I was evil, did you?

Someone was certainly spamming you. Good that you ignored it. I use FB to stay in touch with my many online friends and I have my personal page and two book pages there so I better not be kicked off ever

I should start promoting my music there. But I feel like old friends would feel "obligated" to listen to it. What are your book pages all about?

@TheHorse I have published two books of poems Poetic Thoughts Fly came out at the beginning of 2018 and I just published On the Wings of Love so appropriately the second one came out at the end of this year. You could do a music page I would think.

@RasmaSandra I have some music out on YouTube, but don't want to do anything more than that. Many of my local music friends have albums out, but they wind up giving most of them way.

@TheHorse I don't write on FB, but I use pages there to promote my writing. I have one page for the River Dream Books, one for the Buzby Beach books, one is my author page, and one if for my publishing company. And then I have a spare I use for stuff that doesn't fit on one of the others.

I have several blogs and I was/ am writing for Virily, till I get paid again, then I am backing off, anyways, I was posting in the groups and I got stopped by FB they called me posting in the groups spam, all these groups are blog sharing groups. I disputed their claim and I got to post again.

I never expect FB will contact their users using email about their account status. Firstly, have you inactive in FB for a while? Secondly, check the sender email domain whether it is genuine from FB. Nowadays, scammer will try to do similar thing just to get your personal information and banking details. Just be careful.
