Not much on my mind as of now.
Had to stay put of the ice and rain out there.
I cannot afford to fall.
We have a splendid weekend plan.
Tomorrow will have lunch at my daughter and ex-wife house
Sunday up in the air
Monday we are going to the theater matinee.
Turned down invitation on the eve.Have no interest.Those days are gone.
Will have a quiet one which is fine with me.

An optimist stays up until midnight to see the new year in. A pessimist stays up to make sure the old year leaves.

We are going to spend New Year's Eve at home. We will listen to the Queen's speech, have a nice dinner and watch the fireworks at midnight.

@amadeo Sometimes we go out on New Year's Eve, but I look forward to spending a nice evening at home this year. We don't want our dog to be alone, he is very scared of the fireworks.

Going out on New Year’s Eve has gone for me too and I’m only 26. Im off on New Year’s Day and my partners starting late so we will have date night and a few drinks at home.

I actually have the day before and after New year's day off and New year's day its self is a paid holiday for me from work. So I get a nice 3 day weekend (since I work weekends) to probably not doing anything on. My boyfriend will be working. I will more than likely just go to the gym and back home. Probably be alseep before the new year even gets here.

No horns to toot. We will do what we’ve been doing since we’ve bought our place down here. Cocktails here, a fancy dinner nearby with a few close friends, dessert back at our place, watch the fireworks on the beach from our lanai, watch the ball drop in Times Square, kiss and hug, and watch as my husband throws everyone out! Luckily, we have a designated driver and our area is extremely quiet. No drunken drivers.

I'm an optimist. I'll be up until the ball drops and then an hour later as it's only 11 when the ball drops in Times Square. I used to make calls to friends as soon as the new year started. I haven't done that in years. My friends, like me, are in bed either before midnight or soon after.

It sounds like you're going to have a very eventful New year's. For my new year's plan is I'm going to visit my family and I'm going to hang out at my new house for a little while.
