Usually when we see movies about World War 2 Germany, It is always about the Germans murdered and oppressed the Jews. I remember finding out Black Germans existed in Germany before World War I.... So it makes me wonder how they were treated. I just saw a historical movie trailer about a Biracial Black German girl who lives during Nazi Germany and a Nazi soldier who falls in love with her.... This is the first historical movie about Nazi Germany that shows what Afro-Germans had been through during Nazi Germany. I am not sure if it's accurate but I am curious how Black Germans were treated during those times.
In Theaters September 14th Written & Directed by Amma Asante Starring Amandla Stenberg, George MacKay, Abbie Cornish, Christopher Eccleston

I would like to see this so will look it up on what channels and streaming I have. It may have the writers perception, but most writers have to research and try to make it more realistic so not to have negative fallback.

From what I know it is released in Itunes, The complaints though is how the actors speaks with German accent when they are Americans. I think they should have used a neutral accent instead of a German accent.

Black Germans were treated like the rest that was not "Aryan" or not heterosexual... They were considered less valuable. Nazis did not only murder Jews, they also murdered Gipsies (Roma and Sinti), Disabled, Homosexuals and everything that did not match their picture of the perfect German.

So they were treated as badly but they are lucky enough to not be sent to concentration camps.
