Bad puppy

So i have a new pet and honestly i am just disappointed. I planned to buy a dog but someone i knew told me that someone was giving away a dog for free. Only one year old but the first day everything was fine but now he always wants to bite me and he is not trained either. I feel so unhappy because this is not what i wanted as a pet. I want a dog to cuddle with and give him or her love. Anyone have tips on how to train a dog?

He is so cute I hope you are able to train him so you can give him his forever home. I am sure there are some on here would could give you some advice.

A yorkie, he is adorable. Please train him well. Encourage good behavior with treats but say no to bad behavior and do not give him attention when he bites or does something unacceptable. Always encourage good behavior and give affection only when he behaves well. Consistency is the key. Be his pack leader. Watch a few videos on pet training Caesar Milan is one of those.

At a year old it is still a puppy in many ways. The big thing is repetition and consistency. Reward not punish for most things. There is a lot of online training help if you look.
