Short Library Trip Got Long

Tony slept till just afternoon, when he got woke good I asked did he wanna ride to the library with me and he did.
I checked out a couple books and it did not take me long, one was reserved for me, Janet Evanovich`s new one, "Look Alive Twenty Five" and I was ready to get back home and get outside to work.
BUT...... Tony wanted Chinese and since he had not ate today I drove to the next little town and found out that place is closed on Monday, drove across that little town to the other, found out they closed today for something, just a note on their door.
So....
He told me to stop at Captain D`s and get him fish. The drive thru was packed so I went inside. I seen a Monday evening skeleton crew. I waited about 10 minutes.
By the time I got back home it was 3:30.
See being a caregiver takes a lot of time.
It was good to see him eat every bite in the car on the drive home.
I got to walk only 10 laps with the dogs but still its better than nothing.
How was your day? Do you read Evanovich?

I do not think I have read Evanovich. Certainly I have heard of her.

She is at 25 books in the Stephanie Plum series. She writes good clean fun books.

The big thing today that I did was I took my Van in to have an oil change. No, I have not read Evanovich.

Glad Tony ate good. I got a walk in with Duke despite the wind and before the rain.

Today is the last warm day before the cold front comes in. I will walk outside . Yes its hard to feed him nowadays, he does not like anything anymore.

@andriaperry 40 blocks is a lot. Funny about blocks. I call the walk that I do with hubby after he gets off work a block- the distance circles around his work building. But its really a mile of sidewalk.

@sallypup I am not sure how many miles this is, but the fields are soft to walk for the old knees.

It equals 40 blocks but I was doing 60 before th week of rain.

I have a book by Janet Evanovich but have never read any by her before. Is this an author you like?
That stinks the Chinese restaurant was closed since that is what he wanted but awesome he ate every bite of the food he did wind up getting!

LOL, that was just mid day, I also wrote more on my book, did a little more research and cleaned the fridge, sometthing had spilled.
