Not All Work

So, tomorrow I am back on the road again, off to Wisconsin until Friday for work. And while I complain sometimes about the work travel, it's not all work. Honestly, getting out of the office for a few days is a plus. Even, and I LOVE my wife, don't get me wrong, it's a bit of break from married life as well. I get to be out of the office and I get to be a bachelor for four days. I will conduct my business, and try to make as much money as I possibly can. But I will also relax a bit when I am sitting in the hotel rooms at night. A few relaxing beers, a little fast food, and just doing my own thing should be nice. I am actually looking forward to it this time around. Of course, I will spend quite a lot of time here on MyLot. There is not much to do in the hotel rooms for one, and I am not a big TV watcher. I should be able to get through quite a lot of my notifications, post a thing or two, and get to many of the discussions I have not been able to get to. It should be a good trip.

@jvicentevalera Well, I have certainly ALWAYS believed in the idea of "beauty is in the eye of the beholder." In fact, there have been women I have seen for the first time and thought they were not attractive at all, only to BECOME attractive after you get to know them. So, there is a LOT of truth to eve the idea that beauty is not just about what is on the outside.

@porwest Well, Jim sometimes we might be wrong about what we think about our looks, once I read "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" so what's ugly for some people, does not necessarily have to be ugly for others. Just saying. I hope that you are doing fine there at the hotel.

@porwest Exactly I agree with you. However It depends on what you're looking for, because If it's just a one-night-stand I think people might have their physical requirements on people's looks. lol

She does and she will. She says she misses me. I am inclined to not believe her since she pays very close attention to the calendar when I travel.

It's work, but still a break. Best of both worlds I suppose.

Sometimes I do enjoy the personal time, for whatever that is worth. I hope it does not seem selfish of me.

Who says a business trip has to be all business? Enjoy what you can...short of those ladies of the night.

I thought about you this evening, after I took my blood pressure. Using no medication and just will power I checked mine at 6 pm and it was 115/60 I am back down to normal. How is your BP?

I have not checked my BP since the last time I was with the cardiologist, but it was good then. Mostly. I was still a bit high the week before the final number. But I changed the way I was taking my medication. So that might have been part of it. I probably should check my BP more often, but I never do. Is there a device I could buy that is relatively cheap to check it at home?
