What are you doing with unusable or unwanted Christmas gifts?

I don't get many gifts that I can't use, but if it happened I would probably donate the gift to charity. Re-gifting is also an option, but we have to be careful if we do that. My friend once received a book. On the first page someone had written "Happy birthday, Mette" But my friend's name is Nina and the book was a Christmas gift

@pitstop My friend laughed when she told me the story. At least she learned which mistakes to avoid if she ever re-gifts anything

I do not want to refer to them as unusable or unwanted gifts because time will come when we can make use of then. I actually have received Christmas presents which I may never need at present but I still want to keep them. Some of them I give away to others who have more use of them and want them.

@pitstop yes actually plenty of them, I just keep them mostly wallets which are similar to what I have, and others are imitation LV wallets which I do not really use because it eats up space in my bag.

I did get a couple of things that I just really don't need. I'll hang on to them for a while, then?

I just sort of stick them in a drawer someplace.
