The Pittsburgh Steelers Got Robbed

Hello Sports Fans How are you? I hope you are enjoying the NFL Playoffs and I look forward to discussing this with you. One issue really bothers me, and that is how the Pittsburgh Steelers were eliminated from the playoffs. The Steelers lost to the Oakland Raiders in a game they needed to win, as the antiquated medical equipment at the Oakland Colosseum contributed to the loss. When Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was injured the team did its due diligence by ordering X-Rays to learn the extent of the injury and to determine if Big Ben could return to the game. The X-Ray machine was so old and unreliable that the Steelers medical staff could not read the X-Rays and determine the extent of the injury. Big Ben's heath and safety was at stake and it was just about impossible to decide what to do. As it turned out, Ben was kept out of the game for too long and this contributed to the Steelers loss. This is an unfortunate and revolting situation, but what is really worse is that absolutely nothing was done to improved the situation. The Steelers did not formally complain to the Oakland Raiders or the National Football League, (NFL) but simply walked away from the situation to let the next team and its players suffer the same fate. The NFL did nothing and apparently they are willing to live with this unfortunate situation. I believe a great deal should be done as the safety and health of our cherished athletes is at stake. The Steelers should immediately file a complaint with the Oakland Raiders and the National Football League so corrective action can improve the situation and resolve this problem. The Steelers should be compensated with additional draft picks and the NFL should conduct a comprehensive study of the medical equipment and support that is available at all the stadiums. Corrective action should be taken once the problems are identified. The health and safety of the players as well as the integrity of the game are at stake, and something needs to be done as soon as possible. Please give me the benefit of your wisdom and help launch a national discussion of this great issue. Do you agree with me? Should corrective action be taken? Thanking you in advance for your comments and participation.

I hope someone will take up the cause and improve medical conditions for our players. They risk life and limb on every play and they deserve the very best medical equipment.
