Diary Sunday 6th January 2019
A simple food shopping trip turned into a nightmare. First I left home without my wallet so I had to go back for it. Then I got to the shop thinking I had over an hour before it closed, with many stores closing early on Sundays, but just as I entered he shop they were hit by a power cut and ordered everyone to leave.
I rushed to another store and I was still going round the aisles when they told shoppers they would close in fifteen minutes so I had to rush round very fast to get everything I needed. I managed it though.
Diary Monday 7th January 2019
A very quiet day in, catching up on my writings, and having a nice chat with my Mum on the phone.
Diary Tuesday 8th January 2019
The first random supermarket bag near sell by date shopping day I have made it to this year, and a quick trip to Preston city centre to get a new monthly bus ticket to save myself money on fares this year.

Oh dear that was a bad bit of luck the on Sunday still glad you got your shopping at least a bit of it.

Glad you got the bus ticket too.
The fares just went up here by 20 cents but somehow it added more value. The day pass to go anywhere on local bus or train is just $3 for the day and $1.50 for me discount price.

@arthurchappell Yes if I were traveling more often it would do well for me to do so also. But once or twice a week for me is not enough to justify it.
