I killed the interview.

A few months ago, I was in contact with a company and they talk to me about a job offer that they had. After that, I had not heard from them for awhile. They had recently connected with me and asking me to go on another interview. I had think about it for awhile before giving it a try. The problem was that, I was not very interested but I felt obligated to go only to learn that I would need to do a presentation for the interview. The distance, the place and the interview plus I would need to fix my current place, i felt the need to continue to stay at here. Hence I had email the company recruitment to cancel the deal. Did not felt good about it but decided to go ahead in order to be fair to this company and the old company.

Glad that you are loyal to your existing company. However, if you perceive that you can handle the job well and will be getting a better offer, no harm to give it a try. It is also a way to connect with the people in the industry.

If you did not feel that going to interview was a good thing for you, you were right to cancel the interview.

Yes I do not know why I just do not feel like doing it beside that I should be there for my company which is in crisis.

You need to weigh all the pros and cons of a job interview. I think you made the right choice.

That was the right thing to do. If it didn't feel right there wasn't much point in continuing.

If you did not feel the need to go, then you did the right thing. It's probably going to be a little better.

Its good to let people know how you feel, I personally think if they were taking this long to get back to you they have no clear plans. In recruitment the catch phrase is 'I want this guy yesterday.'
