When a lot of amateur YouTube video loggers upload a video of themselves, sitting in front of a camera and talking into a microphone, the backdrop is usually pretty unimpressive. Sometimes the backdrop of the studio can make or break the presentation. In some cases a bad backdrop in a video can become quite a distraction and make it hard for the person viewing it concentrate more on what is being told. As with basic article writing, the author of a topic uses a simple visual aid such as a Title Picture, to present a picture that is relevant to the message being told, the Vlogger uses imagery, be it their mug in front of a camera or a person standing at a podium on a stage with a large projection screen behind them. It helps to find ways to use methods at your disposal when ever possible. As with all videos, the person is telling a story or explaining an event or a topic and the use of visual props do a much better job if well chosen and properly incorporated. I have seen so many amateur videos by vloggers who try their best to read aloud articles and articulate as best as they can manage so the Closed Captions can convey the words without sound or so they can pronounce words so they can be best understood by the viewer. But haven't you noticed the more advanced looking YouTube videos that are done well and have not only an articulate speaker but have a way of conveying imagery along with their talking to the camera, to show more of the story they are wanting you to see. There are some professional and even amateur videos that not only have good lighting, focus, good articulation and a well balanced group of imagery, backdrop, acoustics and a projection screen or second window within the video that is used to project relevant pictures, graphics, videos so they make it easier and more productive for their message, be it a tutorial, a story to tell, or a form of entertainment. In any event, I found a link to an article that refers to the use of Powerpoint which is one way to convey information on a YouTube video presentation for vlogging - aka Video Logging, blogging or documentary purposes.
