My husband and I were discussing about our visit to the lawyer ( we had to get some property papers sorted out.) Then I mentioned how helpful and approachable the lawyer was and my husband told me a story that amazed me. This man who is now a layer worked in my husband's office as a janitor a decade ago. Then one other employee to whom this lawyer served coffee everyday saw how smart he was and put him through law school. Now this man is a lawyer and he does what the older man did to him, help others in need. I was so amazed at how one act of kindness spread a net of kindness around.

@Marilynda1225 yup I does, I just keep wondering what made the older man do this... Law school isn't really cheap.

Such an amazing success story of a janitor. It always inspire us when we read like this. These stories should be told to younger generations especially those who don't care the dreams and hopes of the parents.

I think it is neat when someone helps others and those people pass it on.

Some help us, go out of the way; then it is natural for us to do the same. Good that he recalls his blessings and keep them alive with his deeds - siva

@Shiva49 Pay it forward is great, i wonder what made this older man do it in the first place. I just learned that he did not stop with one, he has helped more people to get a respectable position in life.

@Janet357 Some people just take and take and never give. The scripture says there is much blessing in giving than in receiving

Now there is a man who was blessed. Amazing. And how kind of the other man to acknowledge and pay for him.
