Do you care about fashion?

Today I was able to "follow up" a conversation (because I was close to them) of a group of friends discussing fashion and seeing how much fashion still influences people a lot.
The clothes have to be branded (preferably the most expensive), super new, have to be used by celebrities and draw enough attention from people.
Honestly, I find it so stupid... I mean, everyone has the right to wear whatever they want (and think they should... just be happy!), but to let themselves be controlled? This is a little too much for me.

I think it's silly. I guess it's okay if the person can afford it, but there are more important things in life.

I used to when I was a teen and while studying college in the University, it stopped when my parents no longer bought them for me after graduation
I still buy branded and expensive from time to time, not because of fashion but because of durability, we get what we pay for.

i don't keep up with fashion, but i do dress in a way that i feel good and also makes me look good. if i feel confident in an outfit, that's good enough for me!
i'd rather spend all the money on food or a vacation or save it up than on clothes lol

I am not fussy when it comes to clothes.I also don't look at the price that it must be branded or expensive.For me,as long as I am comfy then that is go.It is the most important thing.
