Alejandra just left me. We called a Uber and she went to make some errands before going home.
We had a wonderful lunch and she loved the calf foot cheese I gave her. She told me that her daughter had asked her what I would give her for lunch and that she was shocked
These sort of food belong to another generation.
I think that I did not eat a hamburger during all my childhood. In my house we ate other parts of the animals.
I will now take my nap. I even had a small glass of Jack Daniels. Yum!

Yea, I usually go out with my brothers and cousins. We go out to lunch or dinner at times but when we come home I do feel like hanging a bit more with them but its only lunch or dinner then we go our own ways til next time. I always try to make the best of it since I can't have lunch or dinner with them everyday like when we were younger.

Sounds like fun. I'm glad you got a nice drink! Hey I never heard of calf foot cheese, but I don't want to visualize it!

The calf foot is boiled a lot until the broth turns into gel. Then I add mustard, black olives and hard boiled eggs

I think you are right about the food. They were different times when we were young and food choices were different too.
