Nobody Knows the Trouble Sid Has Seen

I have no idea about what trouble Sid has seen but his meowing suggest that he is singing for a purpose. In the morning he meows out a greeting or warning for the day and in the afternoon add a few verses and then in the evening meows some more. It finally reminded me of this saying and song that Louis Armstrong sang. I guess the words of the song can be written just for Sid. They go sometimes I’m up, sometimes I’m down, my mama doesn’t know why I frown. When I am sad, I say a kitty prayer because no one knows the trouble I’ve seen. Those must be his sentiments exactly. How are your furry ones doing?

Don't ever try to interpret your Sid's cries as those sounds he makes could be happy sounds (lol)

Cats are lovely. I have no pets, but the kittens of two different neighbors come inside when I open my door. I had 4 kittens in my kitchen this morning, three are not vocals but the ginger one was surely loud asking for food.

@RasmaSandra I like cats, so I let them come inside. I keep cat food to give them some treats before sending them out to play.

I get surprise visits from my kitty niece Oreo. She comes up with her Papa my friend's husband when he delivers my mail or has to take a look at my PC and she is still quite little only close to a year old. She jumps up into my bookcase and loves to sleep on the shelves. I sometimes don't know she has stayed behind and only when I hear her little meow to be let out I discover she has been here all the time @LadyDuck

@JohnRoberts perhaps I do know that if Louis were still around and blowing his horn and singing Sid would be more than happy to sing along

I wonder what it is all about. Maybe one day you'll discover the reason for his singing

I have no idea. Today was a lovely sunny day so he was sleeping on the roof and he was very quiet but just now at night I can hear him singing his nighttime serenade @JudyEv at least one good thing is that this way I know he is alright
