There is a particular "nut" that people eat that has been known to have a racist slang name used by some people here in America when referring to it. It is the tasty Brazil Nut. I have known about this slang term since I was a child. My Mom told me about it. It made me cringe to hear it. Because it is a very offensive name for the Brazil Nut, I can not write it out here. I never knew that the simple Brazil nut could be a term of abuse, some people can be unbelievable despicable. Don't think I shall be doing any Googling
