You Would Never Know a Storm Is Brewing

Happy Thursday Everyone!
I just came in from taking the dogs out and it's a fairly nice day (so far). The sun is shining and even though the sky isn't bright blue, there are spots of blue among the gray clouds. It's even on the warmer side so it's hard to believe all the hype about a storm coming through tonight.
My daughter is working today so I don't have the car and am stuck in the house. Why is it, that when the car isn't here I have a million places I'd like to go. When it is here, I'm perfectly happy to do things around the house.
Of course, if I had the car, I'd be going to Hobby Lobby for some yarn. I have a whole bucket of yarn and yet I'm not crazy about the colors and can't think of a project to do using them.
I still haven't picked my next book to read and I feel like such a slacker. I've only read one book so far this year and I think I finished it about a week or so ago. Usually I have the next book picked before I get halfway through a current book.
Aside from the usual things that need doing around the house I have nothing else planned for the day. I'm just going to let the day happen.
For now, I'm going to enjoy the sunshine and hope they are wrong about the change in weather coming tonight.

I hope they are wrong... but they got ours wrong and not in a good way. We didn't get our 0 C which would have been nice!

We are new to Santa Fe, but I've already noticed the weather here can change really quickly. The forecasts are often wrong, too.Does that happen where you live?

They have my weekend weather all over the place, so we dont know what we're going to get, but it's Cape Cod, so thats not unusual. Lol.

It is a normal reaction isn't it to want what we don't have at the moment. I hope you didn't get too much bad weather.

We have a "winter storm" coming thru on Saturday.
I used quotes because they are only calling for 5-10 cm of the white stuff, which isn't a lot.
But with the cold temperatures it will be feeling a lot like wintertime.
I'll hopefully get out early on Saturday morning to get my groceries before the roads get too bad.

It's sunny and cool here in Florida. It should get up to the 60's sometime today. I just started a book I picke4de up at the library called "Cold Dawn" by Carla Neggers. I think I have read a book by her before, a couple of the names sound familiar.
