Finally, my prayers broke through all the others for no snow. It's snowing. It's very light, almost imperceptible, but it's snowing. They're calling for a tenth of an inch. It might not even cover the ground, but at least it's snowing. I knew it would. I walked out of the ADRC in a lot of pain with my knees. I knew the system was almost here and now it is. The picture is from a previous storm. This picture is the forecast for a year ago - December 19, 2017

I love a good snow also, but then I'm retired and don't have to get out and drive in it usually. Just cuddle up by our fireplace.

That's just over four feet of snow. I'm sure that's typical of the mountains.

I'm sure it has been from the forecast I saw that stretches from Wisconsin to Maine. We got in on it last night.

Most of the system is going above us and the hard freeze we were expecting is not going to be as the lowest it is going to get is 31F along the coastline and it is noy expected to last long that night,

@just4him Though I don't like it we need the hard freeze and cold weather with the freezes 3 days in a roll to curb the bugs come spring and summer

@Elizaby We need below freezing temps here for two weeks straight to kill all germs and bacteria so people can be healthy. People don't realize how God gave us the seasons He did to keep us healthy.

We had as little snow as yours not long before.All the same I enjoyed watching the flakes of snow that swirled in the air.

The roads are good. The city is keeping them clear. We didn't get a lot of snow, but it does look nice out.

@just4him The roads are clean here. Up in the north they are fighting to keep some roads clean and opened, because with so much snow only some special snow plowers work. They must be careful to avoid to create avalanches.

We did. Though I haven't seen totals. We might have an inch on the ground now. We got hit with the system that went through last night. We weren't supposed to, but I'm glad we did. It gave us a little more snow. My knees are painful even with the current system on its way out. We have another on the way that will give us a lot more accumulation on Tuesday.
