As of today, January 17, 2019, the famous actress and comedian Betty White is 97 years old. It seems that the older she has gets, the more popular she becomes. Today, she is practically an American institution!
She is just as funny in real life as she is on television.
A few years ago, the mother of a friend of ours died and Betty White gave her hilarious eulogy.
The women served together for a number of years on the board of directors of the Laguna Beach Cat Sanctuary. They had bonded over their love of cats, and Betty White had a number of funny stories about our friend's mother. It was one of the few eulogies I have heard which was truly a celebration of life.
Happy Birthday, Betty White. May you have many more birthdays to come!

@LadyDuck - Considering she is 97, she seems to be alert, bright, funny, active and in amazing health. I'm sure she has some aches and pains, probably a little heart disease, etc., but considering her age, she is amazing!

@Elizaby - She really is amazing. It seems like every time I turn around she is on TV for some reason ... a talk show, Saturday Night Live, a commercial or something. I would love to have that kind of energy in my 90s!
