Tomorrow is treat night.
I have been doing well since I have been back at home with my salt restriction, and I LOVE Chinese food, and so does the wife.
So, tomorrow night for dinner we are ordering out for Chinese.
Two orders of chicken teriyaki on a stick, 8 crab Rangoon, I will have a beef pepper steak combo with beef pepper steak, pork fried rice, and two egg rolls, and the wifey will have General Tso's chicken with two egg rolls and pork fried rice.
I will also order a quart of shrimp fried rice.
HERE COMES THE SALT!
Every time we order up Chinese it's like $60. But you only live once, and we are due. The last time we had Chinese was in October of last year, so I think I am okay with it.
It used to be a once a month kind of a thing. But since my salt restriction I spread it out a bit more.
Now...to decide when I can go for a salt lick pizza!

Chinese food is the best, when we get the chance we go to hibachi grill in Springfield, it's the best. I really hope you enjoy your Chinese food!

@porwest I'm glad that you found a place that has good Chinese food, some places are not good at all.

@hillhjill Once we find a place, we stick to it. This place is good, and so this is the place we always order from.

I love Chinese food and could eat it every day but of course, I cannot afford to do that. You just got me hungry for some. Probably will order on Saturday. Hope you enjoy your food. The best thing about Chinese is that I never have to use added salt I just use a bit of soy sauce.

I have to say, you have to treat yourself sometimes. I think you are doing great on the low salt diet.

We had Chinese delivery on New Year's Day. I think the last time we had it before that was in the summer. It used to be a regular thing for us too but now it is only once or twice a year. . . at least at home. I suspect my husband has it for lunch fairly often.

Wow! I havent' had Chinese in awhile, but I have had Japanese. When I do chinese it's just sesame chicken and rice. I can usually never finish the whole thing and forget about leftovers, it's way too dry to try to reheat.
Happy Eating though and enjoy yourself. Have you guys thought about trying to make some of your favorites? That way you control the salt intake, the ingredients etc.
