Do you still buy and read newspapers?

A few days ago I asked about magazines and that got me thinking about newspapers. The newspaper was always a big part of people's mornings. For a lot of people their first job was delivering newspapers. Now the newspapers are all available online and I never see kids out delivering papers. Do you subscribe to a newspaper online or do you still buy newspapers?

No, not anymore. I used to extreme coupon and I bought 4 per Sunday, the price went up to $2.00 each and the coupon value went down, not worth it so I stopped, now I just print what I want.

@moeybags There are many free newspapers to read online, I see no reason to pay for a subscription.

Last year I had the newspaper delivered every day here in Florida but all that paper is a pain in the butt. I usually just buy the Sunday paper.

Yes, my husband insists on his morning newspaper with his breakfast. Up north we get it delivered to a newspaper box below our mailbox, and in Florida, they are dropped off at our door like they are in a hotel. My husband also has the news on TV while he's reading the paper. lol

My husband buys a newspaper once in awhile. He still likes holding it in his hands and reading it. I get my news online.

@Happy2BeMe There are times when I do missing holding the paper in my hands and turning the pages. I still read books the "old fashioned way".

I miss reading a paper newspaper but the cost went up so dramatically and the paper thinned out. The only time I read one is if I am at a coffee house or cafe that has one. Otherwise, I receive my news from the radio and online.

I also read it when I go out for coffee. I use to like the local paper because it was more personal but like you said the price just got to be ridiculous and there isnt much in it anymore.

We don't do either now that we're out of town. We had it delivered when we lived in suburbia.
