Walmart shopping followed by a Chamomile moment

I went inside looking for a Amigo Cart for my wife. Found one, parked at the other end of Walmart Supercenter at the West entrance. After that I walked over and picked up a stuffed teddy bear for her and after going back in to the store, let her do her shopping while I got a burr cut. Nice. so, now my beard looks bad so I will shave later. I walked over to the McDonald's for a cheeseburger, fries and a coffee, decaf. Sat and ate and saved the rest of my fries for later and put them in the car and walked back in with my coffee in hand. After walking around feeling better after a hair cut, and looked all over for my wife. She was there somewhere. It took me about 20 minutes, walking around the entire store twice, to finally find her. She said she was looking for me, actually. When we got home, I was already full on Micky D's food but she made pull pork sandwiches on Hawaiian rolls with barbecue sauce. I finished that one off and fell asleep while watching Young & Restless with her. Sometimes it's good to go out and shop a little to feel a bit of relief from the latest climate change news and border wall shuffle. Now I'm sitting and watching Black Bear News, not bothering to comment, as I feel better just being a passive observer. While listening to what Black Bear News is saying, I am typing this article as it approaches 5:30 PM, time to watch ABC World News. And drinking a nice hot cup of Chamomile tea with honey. Be back later.

Mom used to make Chamomile tea for us to help us relax and sleep, it didn't always work but I kinda liked the tea. I haven't had any in years.

@rebelann , The honey would be best but in this particular case the honey flavor is part of the mix but not enough honey to make the tea sweet without adding either more honey or some sugar.

The kind I like has vanilla and honey to spice it up a bit. I have it with organic sugar and cream and it goes down smooth.

Thanks, Eva James, I am glad to stay home today for the temperature is down to 34 and continuing to dip below to the freezing mark. I think that blue norther, or arctic blast will be with us here in Texas for several days.

You certainly got your exercise looking for your wife. lol. A nice cuppa at the end of a day is very relaxing, especially Chamomile with honey.

I tried it this afternoon, without any sugar or cream and it was very good on it's own. Simple and yet satisfying.

@lookatdesktop I usually don't put anything in my tea (or coffee). Glad you enjoyed it.
