Songs transport you in time

A song can take you back to any time in the past, any place or any feeling. Music has been used as therapy and to induce memories. Do you think music has a strong impact on you? Maybe certain songs or bands? I don't connect with bands or musicians so much as the songs themselves. Some will catch me by surprise and take me back.
