Bundled Up

If you live in snow country, do you remember being a child in winter and wearing a snowsuit and being so bundled up you could barely move?
That's how I feel right now. I'm sitting here in layers. There's no way I'm leaving home without my thermals this morning. When I checked the forecast at 4 it was -10 wind chill. It's the coldest day of the season so far.
It's a good thing I've lost the weight I have or I wouldn't be able to fit the thermals under my jeans. As it is, I'm having a hard time moving, but it's better to be warm than cold.
The sun isn't up yet, but when it is, it's supposed to be even colder. They're talking -15 by 7 AM. The regular temp is 5 above for now.

We didn't venture out at all today... maybe tomorrow. We have a driveway to shovel again!

@Hate2Iron I have the heater on in my office and wearing two shirts, but IF I go out, I will layer on more. I'm not planning to go out.

i guess even those that like winter have their limits.
i thought daylight would make things warmer, but i guess it's because of the wind?

@just4him i didn't know that about the sun making things colder. however, rain after snow isn't good also, right?

I remember that as a kid.
Now i suffer a bit from the cold rather than from bundling and being too hot.

I'm loving my weather. Snow starts tonight and I can't wait for the final totals. They're calling for 5 inches now instead of 6. I'm still hoping for 6.
