There are some people that don’t know what, “The Trail of Tears” was. Maybe they didn’t learn about it in school or just didn’t pay attention. Anyway, “The Trail of Tears” is when the mostly English people that came to North America and formed a government and enforced a western migration of the Native American Indians on March 26,1838 The government relocated about 17,000 real Americans of the Cherokee Nation about 800 miles on foot while the federal troops rode on horseback! The journey was about 93 to 139 days. The journey was called The Trail of Tears because these people were cruelly removed from their homes and relocated. On the journey an estimated amount of mostly babies, children and elderly people died from illness mostly.

Unsettling to hear or witness folks having to leave their homes. Prayers continue.
