A penny for your thoughts?

That's pretty much what myLot is doing - giving us a penny for our thoughts. Or rather, that is what it is allowing us to do for each other without making that penny come from our own pocket!
When you recognize someone else's thoughts - AKA their response or their discussion - by liking it or by commenting on it they paid. So pay it forward and while you're scrolling through and reading make sure you comment and like; with consideration and thought. Make this the fun and friendly place you want it to be!

I try, I'm not always successful. Sometimes when I'm tired at night I do find myself just scrolling.

Me too! I am brand new but once I started to see how it worked I have started doing the same thing.

That is a good way of looking at it and is EXACTLY what is going on here. It is part of what I LOVE about the site as well, and that's that you CAN share whatever happens to be on your mind, be it in posts or comments, and you get to earn a little something for that. I have a LOT of opinions, so for me this is a really good thing.
