Frugal Tip here, guys! I'm going to be making my own laundry liquid soap next week!!! I've researched and talked to others that make their own soap and purchased the ingredients, just waiting for the last bit to come in from Amazon which is due to arrive this coming Monday. The base I'll be doing is Fels-Naptha soap, good for babies. I know a mum who has super sensitive skin and she recommended me to use that as my base. I bought borax and washing soda as well. And a 5 gallon bucket. Any soap makers here? Kinda hoping to connect with some of you so that we can trade tips and experiences.

Laundry soap is a liquid you'll need at least a 5 gallon bucket for that. I've also been looking at moulds. I plan to make shampoo bars so that I can use less plastic.

@Janet357 I'm going to start making for myself and family for a few years, and to give as gifts. If they turn out good I will probably do a wee bit of selling but only locally. But family members will always be free.

@Masihi that will be good for months of consumption. Do you make them for personal consumption only?
