Coming Back to MyLot After 3 Years

So I joined Mylot 3 years ago!
My imperfections are so clear to me now. I was not having fun and I was mainly trying to make as much money that I could. I made a few friends that were so amazing, but I lost them because I was not consistent and I had the wrong intentions. At one point, I was just trying to think of different topics to try and talk about to try to get people to like me, so I was not completely myself which I regret.
I wanted to give this website another try this time. This time, actually have fun and be me. I could see this website helping to build more dedication and patience in myself which is great. I hope to make more friends as well
Anyone else ever started Mylot with the wrong intentions and started over?

When I started here, I think I was here mostly for the money. But not anymore for sure. I've made friends here. And they're the reason I'm still here. Sure, it is nice to earn a little extra money, but it is not my main reason for being here anymore.

Well, when I first started here many years ago I had the silly notion everyone would like me or be nice to me! 
Not because I thought I deserved it but because I thought since I'm nice to others they will return the same... I was also young and naive.
Now, I just don't let anyone steal the joy my Father in Heaven has given me. =)

Oh wow! I experienced the negativity even though I was respectful in return. You cannot please everyone! I appreciate you welcoming me back! It feels really nice. I would definitely take your advice and not let anyone steal my joy as well.

I'm sure you are right! I just think that was getting in the way of who I was as a person. I was writing crappy posts in my opinion, but I was young!

So you're saying you started out using it because it pays money? I think it is a neat place to meet different people from all over the place.

Yes, that was my main concern which it should not have been because this platform is more than that. I was young! At that time, I was trying to do whatever to make a fast buck.
